After breakfast, visit the iconic Potala Palace, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama and an architectural marvel. Following this, head to Jokhang Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known as the holiest temple in Tibetan Buddhism. After lunch, continue to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The final stop of the day will be the Sera Monastery, one of Tibet’s key monasteries. Return to Lhasa for an overnight stay at the Intercontinental Hotel.

In the morning, depart for Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city. Along the way, visit the stunning Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s sacred lakes, known for its turquoise waters. Afterward, marvel at the Karola Glacier, a breathtaking ice formation visible from the road. In the afternoon, visit the Palkhor Monastery, home to a fusion of Tibetan, Han, and Nepalese architectural styles. Spend the night at the Qiaomulangzong Hotel or similar accommodation in Shigatse.

After breakfast, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, a significant religious center and one of the largest monasteries in Tibet. Following the visit, return to Lhasa, enjoying the scenic views along the way. The evening is free for you to explore more of Lhasa. Overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Start the day with a visit to the bustling Barkhor Street, a lively market surrounding the Jokhang Temple, offering a glimpse into local life and Tibetan culture. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Chengdu. Overnight flight back to Chengdu.
