Overview
Explore the unique architecture of the EUR district in Rome, a neighborhood designed during the Fascist era. Originally planned for the 1942 World’s Fair, the area reflects a mix of Fascist ideology and classical Roman urban planning. Its grand, white marble structures and wide streets were designed to recall the monuments of Ancient Imperial Rome, combining elements of Italian Rationalism with modernist influences.
During our walking tour, we will visit iconic landmarks and discover the district’s transformation over time, from its controversial beginnings to its current role as a hub of government offices and headquarters.
